I had not been using much black paint until I did this one. As a result the bright green plants found themselves at home in very dark woods. I also managed to use the paint brushed to splash the paint onto the clear support.
Collection of paintings I've made since I retired in 2007. I'm no artistic master, but I am having fun playing with the paints given to me as a retirement gift.

I have often pondered this combination of green and black. I have found myself in spots outdoors, so dense and shaded that if you stare into it, you can see the black. That is one thing this returning Montana girl loved about the midwest, and its humidity.
