9 x 12 Acrylic No Longer Available
What is its color true? This was supposed to be a yellow flower, but it turned orange. Are real daisies ever orange? The shadow added by the scan improved this painting. I'd love to be able to do the shading shown here. Oh well. Good thing I have never sought perfection.

At our house, we call imperfections "Zen flaws." Creates a reason to focus on the perfection of all that surrounds it. I like the dark center here.
And yes, I have seen an African daisy with a light orange petal. The centers are a deep purple.
