Orange, book and candles-- a study completed at the end of January, just before I decided to spend a week visiting the local hospispa. The paintings completed after I returned home will be put up in March. The dark tones of this piece provided omnious hints to what happened next.

You know what I notice about this one? It isn't the darker colors, but the harder edges...
