Amoeba

16 x 12 collage canvas panel
I started by adding a layer of tissue paper before I began painting. The scan did not do justice to the texture, but the colors do reflect the effects of the texture.

Wish I could post individually to each picture instead of a lump of all of them, however...the blues...yeah, I know it is blue because of blue paint issues...but I can also see different sides of the "blues".

Balls: I see gumballs. But then again growing up, I wanted a gumball room...so I guess that is why I see gumballs.

My short attention span I can't remember what the titles of the others are, so...I'll have to post this, go look again...and post some more! See...this is why each post needs its own line! LOL

I think the texture here spoke to me the most--it's the tear in the tissue...disturbs me, as I tend to think of amoebas as intact in their single cells.

Can amoebas outgrow themselves though? Those would be quite the leaders.
I think of this more as leaves in autumn, torn because of heavy wind and brambles. It's a bit mournful for me.
